Apparently only about 1/3rd of this bill actually goes to farmers -- and even that is disputed. The other 2/3rds go to welfare programs.
Lets ignore the 80% overhead on government welfare programs for now. Most people receiving food stamps would prefer to be able to afford their own food. And on that note...
